Delivering real value requires the right people
New leadership roles within Forte Group set the stage for the next phase of growth — ours and yours
Engineering custom software and managing product practices that deliver real value — not just “code” — has always been our focus here at the Forte Group.
And we’ve been incredibly successful at it thanks to the expertise and thought leadership of our people. That’s why I wanted to take a little time to introduce you to three of our team members who have taken on new roles that will allow us to deliver even greater value to all our customers, be they startups or global enterprises.
Cornel (C.J.) Montano – Chief Services Officer
Ever since joining the Forte Group as a partner and Managing Director in 2017, C.J. Montano has been instrumental in building and expanding our services practice. In his new role as Chief Services Officer, he brings all of our technical disciplines, from Product Management and Software Engineering to Quality Assurance and Product Support, under one roof.
Bringing all of our disciplines together and continuing to evolve our practice expertise makes us even more responsive to our customers’ needs. I’m excited to work with our talented and creative teams to build upon Forte Group’s successes over the past few years. Together, we’ve been able to deliver valuable software to organizations in ways that simply weren’t possible before.
With our software services aligned under C.J.’s experienced leadership, Forte is better-equipped to deliver even higher levels of value and customer satisfaction across all of our engagement models. I’m thrilled to have C.J. take the helm and drive in this new role as CSO.
Kiersten Lyng – Director, Strategic Accounts
For more than four years, Kiersten has played a strategic role in working directly with our customers to ensure that they can develop the best software solutions for their business. In her new role as Director of Strategic Accounts, Kiersten will collaborate with our enterprise clients to ensure they’re getting exceptional talent, value delivery, and software engineering maturity.
I’m excited to work with our HR and recruitment teams in the U.S., Colombia, and Eastern Europe to connect the top product teams with the organizations we work alongside. We've had such great feedback on the variety of options we now offer and I am looking forward to continuing to find the right mix of talent and ease of engagement to meet evolving client needs.
Last year, Kiersten was integral to Forte Group’s expansion into the Latin American market. As Director of Strategic Accounts, her international business experience and innate understanding of enterprise-level solutions’ unique demands will benefit our customers worldwide.
John Miniati – Director of Product Management
In January, Forte welcomed John as our Director of Product Management. Since joining us, John has already honed and matured our already robust product management craft even further. He brings with him a depth of experience that includes leadership roles in both startups and enterprises. He’s also headed up product management training and development programs at several educational institutions, including Northwestern’s prestigious Kellogg School of Management.
There’s humility, combined with confidence born from success, that’s evident at Forte. That’s a solid midwestern trait. When I came back to Chicago from Silicon Valley, I knew there was an opportunity to combine agile and product practices with the midwest’s work ethic and good-naturedness. That’s what I see at Forte, and I look forward to growing and amplifying that culture. It’s a culture I think our current and future customers can benefit from.
Working alongside C.J., Glenn Eckstein, Director of Practice Engineering at Forte Group, and a talented team of product professionals, will further develop how product management can deliver value to our customers. He also oversees our global product management practice and how it integrates with our engagement models.
